Central London Mews House

This is a virtual new build house in a Marylebone Mews. The façade with its distinctive barrel profile has been retained but modified and compositionally strengthened with a new central front door and a window that signals the modern interiors within. Controlled axial planning and a dramatic new staircase turn the challenge of vertical living into an opportunity for a gracious spatial experience. Light is captured from various directions and funnelled deep into the plan. Public and private areas are distinct, courtyards and varied room types offer qualities that enhance inner city living.
