Sheffield Terrace

Uninhabitable ground and basement floor flats of a 19th century house have been converted into a perfectly balanced duplex apartment. A new staircase unites the floors both functionally and visually and mirrored surfaces divert light into the deep and formerly dark plan. Relationships to the outdoor spaces have been enhanced and full height doors and joinery maximise spatial flow.
