Starfield Road

This is a scaled down version of a large and grand house. We achieved this by keeping the levels separate and not interconnecting rooms, but allowing glimpses of spaces beyond. A clear understanding of planning laws enabled the creation of extensions at ground and first-floor level, a full-width roof terrace, and a generous second entrance. The top floor is two bedrooms and bathroom, the middle level an entrance hall and a suite of study, dressing room, bedroom, shower-room and terrace. The lower floor is an entrance, dining room, kitchen, cloakroom and sitting room. The garden is on two levels with a covered loggia. This is designed to match the rear elevation of the house, but with more rustic materials.
